Jonas Cleveland (Co-Founder, President, Software/Product) has held senior development positions in several start-up companies. He has multiple publications and patents in mobile robotics and computer perception. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S.E in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kostas Daniilidis, Ph.D.


Kostas Daniilidis, Ph.D. (Co-Founder, Chief Scientific Advisor) is Professor of Computer and Information Science and Associate Dean of Graduate School Education at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an IEEE Fellow. He formerly served as the director of the interdisciplinary GRASP laboratory, which hosts 15 faculty and more than 100 doctoral and post-doctoral students. He was Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, Kostas co-founded kapou.gr a vision- based mapping company. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.

Ed Henkler

Chief Operating Officer

Ed Henkler (Strategic Operations & Business Development) is a seasoned operations expert with diverse executive experience. Ed has been instrumental in the operations of several start-up companies including SciVocis and Annidis. He has led business development for companies in the retail sector having the opportunity build a tremendous network in the space. He holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from NC State University. Ed has also been a senior strategic Operations leader at Merck & Co., Inc., former facilities manager, and former Board Chairman of the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. He has been instrumental in acquiring COSY’s current and emerging business partners.

Kevin Cadette

Chief Product Officer

Kevin Cadette (Financials) brings over 10 years of experience in managing high-tech startup companies from inception to going public. He holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and engineering degrees from Cornell University. As co-founder and CFO for JobsInSite, Cadette took the company public on the OTCBB trading exchange. At Monster.com, Cadette led a technology team through all phases of product development. Cadette has held several other positions including serving as a consultant for IBM and EnerNoc.

Cody Phillips

Lead Developer

Cody Phillips (Vision Engineer) has significant expertise in Computer Vision and Robotics with an emphasis on real-time visual processing, projective geometry, object pose- estimation, object reconstruction, and perception of objects with non-Lambertian properties. He is on the graduate research staff in Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania and holds an M.S.E from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Most of his publications have involved the fusion of sensor data such as IMU, depth, color and kinematic information along with synthesized data models.
